Special Tactical and Response (STAR) Team

day-to-day law enforcement presence.
The provision of public safety services to the citizens
of Rogers requires a variety of specialized skills and
approaches. In the case of the Rogers Police
Department (RPD), the Special Tactical and Response (STAR)
Team is used in situations that require more than a standard
day-to-day law enforcement presence. RFD's "Tactical
Medic" program supports the "STAR" Team by placing on-scene
firefighter/parmedics readily available to render advanced
life support (ALS) emergency field care consistent with
established protocols in the shortest time tactically
feasible.
