Technical Rescue
Team
Specialized rescue skills are required for high-angle,
confined spaces, swift water , and other rescue situations.
Two RFD members from each shift comprise the Technical
Rescue Team (TRT) whose function is to remain in a state of
readiness to respond to those incidents.
The RFD/TRT regularly trains with similar teams of other
Northwest Arkansas area fire departments to assure a well
coordinated approach to mutual-aid responses as may be
required from time-to-time.
