The Rogers Historical Museum produces
traveling exhibits geared for small and mid-sized history
museums. In producing our traveling exhibits, we draw
upon our experience as exhibit borrowers and incorporate
features we feel are helpful:
Relatively low cost of from $500 to $800 per
6-week booking period (multiple booking periods available)
plus shipping to the next venue (usually $500 - 1,500)
Objects as well as panels, either shadow-boxed on the
exhibit panels or to be placed in your own cases.
Incorporation of ADA guidelines, including font size and
suggestions for hanging heights
A hands-on feature as part of each exhibit
Crates designed with smaller museums in mind, with fairly
low weights, dimensions to fit thorough the average doorway,
easy-to-use handles and lids, and rugged skids
Posters and brochures to accompany each exhibit
An exhibit packet with publicity materials, suggestions for
educational programming and an exhibit guide, including
ideas for exhibit supplements, suggestions for further
reading, and instructions on such topics as insurance,
transportation, security, environmental guidelines, handling
and packing.
Check the exhibit details for each exhibit.

The Life Atomic: Growing Up
in the Shadow of the A-Bomb
From “duck-and-cover” drills to wacky sci-fi movies, the
atomic bomb had a tremendous impact on daily life and
popular culture back in the 1950s and 1960s.
