Trail Rules & Etiquette

• Trails are open from sunrise to sunset
• Motorized vehicles are prohibited
• Ride/walk on the right side of the trail
• Faster trail users should yield to slower traffic
• Give warning before passing other trail users
• Yield to others when entering and crossing the trail
• Move to the trail edge when stopped to allow others to pass
• Keep dogs leashed and in control
• Do not litter
• Pick up after pets
• Helmets required for all bicycle riders on trails
• Cyclists should use hand signals to alert others of upcoming turns
• Maintain control of your speed at all times
• Stay on the trails to protect vegetation and minimize potential erosion
