Membership to the Rogers Activity Center enables you to
utilize the cardio/strength training room as well as the
indoor walking/jogging track!
The RAC currently has
ellipticals, treadmills, stair stepper and bicycles. The
room features a top of the line series of Paramount strength
training circuit equipment, as well as free weights.
All weight machines in the circuit are Selectorized
Single Stations for all muscle groups. The room also
features a Paramount Functional Trainer. Functional strength
training helps develop strength to improve performance in
functional tasks. This is one of the fastest growing trends
in sports, health and fitness.
The cable systems used for functional training provide
effective training solutions by promoting a variety of
functionally integrated resisted movement patterns. Used
correctly, cable-based training can improve strength and
coordination.
Our three lane track is great for walks, jogs, runs,
and/or callisthenic work outs. We also have an area in the
corner with a nice mat for stretching and/or abdominal work
outs. A step is also provided for additional workouts.
Rules:
You must be 14 to be on the track.
You must be 15 to be in the Cardio/Strength Training
Room.
Athletic apparel must be worn in the weight room. No
street shoes or sandals. Jeans or studded clothing are
not allowed.
Share equipment and allow others to work in between
sets.
There is a 30 minute time limit on the cardio
machines when people are waiting.
Please do not bang or drop the weight stacks, and do
not drop or throw weights on floor.
